Marketing & CRM Specialist Apprentice

Within the Transit Division, this position is primarily responsible for supporting and driving CRM activities, in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams. The role also contributes to strategic and operational marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on competitive intelligence to strengthen Wabtec’s value proposition and support targeted market opportunities across the railway and industrial technology sectors.

Direct reporting line: Vice President Marketing Transit.

Main responsibilities

CRM Support & User Enablement

• Support the day-to-day use and adoption of the CRM tool.
• Onboard and train new CRM users, including training on key B2B processes.
• Partner with IT to manage CRM enhancements and related projects.
• Communicate new CRM features, content, dashboards, and enhancements to users.

Strategic Marketing

• Conduct competitive analyses across existing markets.
• Conduct ad hoc market studies to support Business Unit Managers and the Transit Management Team, including new technologies, product adjacencies, market potential assessments, and other strategic topics.

Operational Marketing

• Develop and support marketing communication campaigns.
• Create marketing content, including articles and white papers.
• Support the development of product promotion materials and videos.

Candidate profile

Bac+4 in engineering or business school with the ability to work in an industrial environment for a work-study position starting in January 2027.

• Good knowledge of the Office pack
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good level of English
• Knowledge of CRM Tool will be an advantage.
