Faire carrière dans l'hôtellerie-restauration est plus qu'un simple travail, c'est l'aventure d'une vie. Vous aimez le secteur de l'hôtellerie-restauration?

Finn Lough is a secluded hideaway in the West of Ireland offering unique accommodation, immersive spa trails, and innovative dining experiences. We are committed to regenerative hospitality, combining luxury with sustainability. Since opening in 2013, we’ve grown into one of Ireland’s leading independent resorts, known for our design-led approach, commitment to wellness, and unforgettable guest experiences. Learn what it takes to develop a sustainable business model, that puts a premium on unique and authentic experiences.

Finn Lough is our fair lake. It’s a place apart. Separated by Boa Island, protected by the fair waters of the lough, we stand tall with the ancient woodlands of Fermanagh around us. Finn Lough isn’t like any other hotel or resort. Through our connection with design and nature, we offer our guests a different level of luxury. Because we believe that plugging out is the best way to recharge.

Operational Internship

If you dream of developing a career in hospitality and want to gain first hand experience working within an innovative and eco-conscious organisation then perhaps you should consider spending your internship in green Ireland.

Responsibilities

Our internship and dedicated training programme aims to give students and graduates the opportunity to gain experience and insight into the operational aspects of the hospitality industry. There will be the opportunity for departmental rotation to ensure staff have a broad and thorough knowledge of all elements involved in the running of a resort.

The departments covered during the rotational period will include:

  • Guest Services
  • Food and Beverage
  • Housekeeping
  • Sales and Marketing (6 month internships)
  • Events (6 month internships)
  • Finance (6 month internships)

The initial 3 months of the internship is based on rotational training, gaining a broad understanding of the operations of the business. There is then the option to extend for a further 3 months in a paid position or continue with a further 3 month internship to cover more in depth areas of operations (this includes, finance, events, sales and marketing)

The training and responsibilities within the internship will include:

  • Front Office training on systems and operations, covering everything from welcoming guests to processing bookings
  • Guest Services, gaining insight into the standards that set the tone for an exceptional guest experience
  • Food and beverage, working within all areas from breakfast to evening dining and bar
  • Housekeeping, understanding the logistics associated with a resort and requirements for quality control

About You

We’re looking for more than just students who want experience in hotels and resorts. The right fit for Finn Lough is someone who sees hospitality as one of the most innovative industries of our time, a space where creativity, sustainability and human connection come together.

You might be studying Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, Business, or another field entirely, but what matters most is that you:

  • Believe hospitality can be more than a holiday, it can be an opportunity to create experiences that change how people see the world.
  • Studying or recently graduated in tourism or other related field
  • Are curious about how design, sustainability and storytelling shape unforgettable guest journeys.
  • Want to be part of an organisation that treats hospitality as education in its truest sense: a chance to connect, to learn, and to make a lasting impact.
  • Are motivated, adaptable and unafraid to bring new ideas to the table.
  • Value teamwork and collaboration but also show initiative and independent thinking.
  • See yourself as someone who doesn’t just serve guests, but creates connections and memories that will stay with them.

If you’re someone who thrives on new ideas, who wants to shape a different kind of hospitality in this climate, one that is regenerative, purposeful and deeply human, then this is the place for you.
