Internship Powertrain Engineering CFD 

Do you want to put all your theoretical knowledge into practice, gain operational experience and broaden your skills? We offer a variety of options for you to work with our employees, experts and specialists in a fascinating high-tech environment.

We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) to be part of our CFD Powertrain Department in Cologne, Germany. Experience teamwork and be inspired by the passion of our 450 employee’s strong workforce for motorsport and automotive projects.

Your tasks could be:

• Support in the development of topics in 3D CFD and internal combustion engines development (topic to be agreed upon with the student)
• Participation in the model development
• Helping with the validation according to measurements
• Assist in the methodology development and reporting

The successful student offers:

• Strong 3D CFD skills in non-reactive and reactive in-cylinder flow
• Good skills in 3D CFD simulation using Converge or similar
• To be a strong communicator with good written and spoken English skills
• Successful completion of bachelor's degree
