Novotel Sharjah Expo Centre, the first-established Novotel hotel in the city, is located next to Sharjah Expo Centre, close to Dubai, with convenient access to Sharjah's major business & leisure hubs. The wide choice of rooms, with a panoramic view of Mamzar Lagoon, offers each guest the freedom to experience their stay to the maximum. The hotel offers two great restaurants, including Tahi Arabic restaurant.

Intern - Content Creator

We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to support our marketing team in promoting the hotel across digital and print platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality marketing, social media, and content creation.

Missions :

You will assist in executing campaigns, managing digital assets, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.

Digital Marketing & Social Media:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling engaging social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance, suggesting improvements.
  • Support paid social media advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads).
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages in a timely manner.

Content Creation:

  • Develop compelling written, visual, and video content for digital and print marketing.
  • Assist in photography and videography for promotional materials (e.g., events, food & beverage, room tours).
  • Edit and retouch images/videos to align with brand standards.

Brand Management & Collateral:

  • Update and organize digital assets (photo/video library, brand guidelines, presentations).
  • Assist in designing and producing marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, menus, signage).
  • Ensure all materials adhere to brand identity and messaging.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support email marketing campaigns and newsletter creation.
  • Assist in coordinating promotional events and partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Sales, F&B, Front Office) for cross-promotional initiatives.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Media, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with photography/videography and editing software (Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CapCut).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in [English + any other relevant language].
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior internship or project experience in marketing (preferred but not required).
