Front Office Trainee

The Front Office trainee will be able to fully experience the front services of the Nobu Hotel Barcelona with a hands-on approach. After completing this program, the trainee will have learned how a real front services operation is managed with first-hand experience and will be fully immersed in the Nobu culture.

Essential Functions:

Learn all aspects of the Nobu hotel Barcelona and all pertaining points of interest of the destination.
Learn hotel room categories and basic information on outlets menus.
Learn and perform all technical aspects of front services: how to check in/ check out guests, do rooms move, upsell rooms, allocate rooms, balance inventory, deliver luggage and packages, handling dining transfer reservations, etc.
Learn and execute shift opening and closing procedures.
Collect guest preferences and prepare for all VIP arrivals.
Learn how to handle and efficiently resolve guest incidents and internal breakdowns.

Requirements:

Currently studying hospitality management.

Experience: Prior working experience in a hotel or restaurant is valuable.
Technical skills: Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power point. Opera, Delphi, or Salesforce are a plus.
Communication: Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
