Reporting to the Director, Australia and New Zeland and currently staffed by one permanent staff member, you will focus on the Australian and New Zealand institutional markets.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Maintaining of internal databases, primarily client view and share point.
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks, e.g: collating presentations, liaising with internal departments to obtain information, sending out minutes of meetings, checking presentations for completeness and accuracy.
  • Carrying out background research into meetings to be conducted by AXA IM: filtering relevant information and background where information is hard to come by.
  • Providing office back-up, there will be significant telephonic and email contact with clients and prospects.

What sort of profile are we looking for:

The candidate should possess a level of understanding of basic economics and finance.

  • Previous related experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint.
  • A very high level of spoken and written English is an essential attribute.
  • Ability to plan and schedule tasks so that they are delivered on time.
  • Attention to detail is therefore important.
  • Analytical mindset and a level of determination are strongly recommended.
