The « Operational Excellence » team is dedicated to the implementation, across all AXA IM, of process management and quality methods (6-Sigma).
The goals of the team are threefold :
- Produce a measurement of process performance; provide a methodological framework and an expertise on quality issues.
- Facilitate governance of key processes, which are frequently transversal (involving several teams within AXA IM, or even other companies) and promote a “process” culture across the company.
- Launch and execute process improvement initiatives.
The team is part of the «Corporate Projects & Operational Excellence» department, which itself is attached to «Global Shared Operational Functions». It currently counts 7 people (Six Sigma experts, known as Black Belts), each dedicated to a specific business area of the company.
Reporting to the Process Engineer, your main responsibilities will be the following :
- Implementing measurement systems using database and workflow tools and/or making them evolve : extension, optimisation…
- Writing documentation and specifications of developments.
- Ensuring consistency of methods used.
- Establishing a link with the statistical tool Minitab, building dashboards·
- Contributing to the different projects managed by members of the team.
What sort of profile are we looking for:
Currently completing final year in Engineering school or Master’s degree, a specialization in Mathematics and computer science would be a plus.
- Previous related experience in project management is an advantage·
- Knowledge of desktop tools, databases, programming languages, statistical concepts and calculations.
- Dynamic, rigorous and autonomous.
- Good level of English is required (written and spoken).
