Fixed Income Product Manager Intern

The role of the Product Specialist Unit (PSU) is to ensure the consistency between the financial products offered and the current/future expectations of the market. It is realized through deep understanding of both portfolio management and sales activities.

Product Specialists support salespeople where in-depth technical understanding of the product is needed, while Product Managers manage the life cycle of the products (development, alteration, death).

The internship is a tremendous opportunity to step into the front office of a well-known asset manager in a position which is characterized by daily interaction with both the portfolio managers and the salespeople

Reporting to the Fixed Income Product Managers, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Helping provide salespeople with critical information on financial products
• Ensuring efficient front office information flow between asset managers and the PSU
• Carrying out competition analyses for existing and upcoming financial products

What sort of profile are we looking for:

Currently studying a Master’s degree with a specialisation in financial markets.

• Knowledge of Fixed Income portfolio management is an asset.
• Good knowledge of software (word, excel, PowerPoint). A former experience in financial sales & marketing would an advantage. The intern will have to be able to compute performance and risk indicators.
• Being fluent in working English is mandatory
• Writing and analytical skills will be key selection criteria
