Within the Structured Finance Division (SFD), one of the major actors on the structured finance and the CDO markets, the ABS Group mission is to select and invest in Asset-Backed Securities on the European and the US market. The team is composed of three Fund managers as well as three analysts. As of the end of last month, assets under management were approximately US$7 billion.

You will report to the Credit Analyst team in the Markets/Assets research, the monitoring of transaction (US and Europe), your main responsabilies will be :

• Credit Quality analysis on the sub-sectors of the ABS market by analysing different figures and ratios, in preparation for the Investment committee.
• Large involvement in the transaction’s surveillance process from the production of monitoring files to the interpretation of data and deep analysis on a deal by deal coverage.
• Monitor the rating agencies announcements and press releases (Moodys, Fitch and S&P) on the transactions as well as the latest technical and analytical evolutions in the structured finance market.
• Cash Flow runs
• Collect and populate market data
• Feed of performance data into internal database
• Participation at the committee meeting

What sort of profile are we looking for ?

Degree : Finance or economics, for-year degree or “Ecoles de commerce”

• Numeracy, an analytical mind and the ability to understand and evaluate complex issues
• Ability to manage competing priorities and manage one’s own time effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team
• Highly developed communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
• English is a must
