Corporate Projects & Operational Excellence (CPOE) is an internal consulting team operating within AXA Investment Managers. CPOE is composed of permanent staff, both junior and senior, and works on several types of missions:

• Large scale strategic reviews, either on a geographic area or an activity;
• Monitoring of key business processes – implement Quality of Service initiative;
• Impulse cultural change towards client-centricity and process awareness, through several training & communication initiatives;
• Large & small-scale process re-engineering.

To execute their missions, CPOE staff apply techniques of project management, process improvement (Lean, 6-sigma) & program management. The intern’s mission will be to help the team answer the increasing demands of process management.

He/she will be responsible for:

• Contributing to process improvement initiatives: documentation, execution of initiatives
• Investigating statistical issues related to process performance.
• Supporting the team’s process mapping tasks, through the use of MEGA Tool.
• Supporting existing process measurement systems, using database and workflow tools.
• To be fully successful in these tasks, the intern will need become familiar with the fundamentals of Lean 6-sigma.

We are looking for?

Education: Economics, Business school – last year of studies.

• Skills: good command of desktop tools, affinity with statistical concepts & databases is a plus.
• Key competencies: demonstrates rigor and autonomy in work, good listening & analysis, good writing and communication abilites.
• Language: English required. Most documents we use or produce are written in English in order to be shared across the company.
