Established in 1995 as an independant publisher based in Lausanne (Switzerland), Forward SA launched the first issue of BANCO in 1996. Entirely dedicated to asset management for institutional investors, BANCO is published 6 times a year in French and German. Next to the magazine, Forward SA has developped several regular events (BANCOrama, a conference day for institutional investors, BANCO Swiss Hedge Funds Awards, the only swiss awards for hedge funds and funds of hedge funds, and BANCOrallye, a one-day old cars rally), various services (such as highly specialised financial translations, which have been spun off in 2007 into Forward Services & Consulting Ltd, UK), as well as several guides and specialized newsletters. BANCO is the exclusive media partner of the Lipper Fund Awards in Switzerland since 2000.
